where, oh where, has my little summer gone?

A re-cap of recent garden happenings:

Digging up potatoes; one of my favorite things to harvest. It really is like finding buried treasure.

Spreading mulch around the apple trees, and preparing to plant garlic here soon.

Welcoming baby down from my back and into the garden space, as it becomes safer for little feet to explore.

Loving the colorful bounty of produce, harvested little by little this year.

Wondering how it could be Fall already.

  2. Oh life looks so good watching it through your photo's! I wish I had a potato patch, but well, my window garden will have to do for at least another year. Yes Fall came quickly and seemingly out of nothing here too.

  4. I know, I know....where does the time go? I was down to CO this weekend and the changing of the leaves was so obvious and, of course, stunningly beautiful

Digging for treasure (or potatoes) is possibly my favorite garden activity! That is an awesome basket you've got there...and full of so much bright, tasty, goodness!

  5. Beautiful pictures, I love the dress and hat your little one is wearing! Here we are planning summer crops but fall/autumn would have to be my favourite of the seasons. :)
