  12. Mmmmm. Seed catalogs. My four year old gets almost as excited about seed catalogs as I do. She picked out the purple cauliflower to grow from that same one.

  15. I am very lucky as our local seed company - Hudson Valley Seed Library - comes to me! They set up at our Farmers' Market in December and will be back again in March. Restraint is a challenge. I want one of everything!! There is so much magic in a packet of seeds. Happy shopping!

  22. he can't read yet so I'm assuming he's enjoying the pictures. When I was little I use to do the same thing. I would look at the pictures of comics though.
